REFMAT SOCIETY REFMAT Society is a non-profit organisation, which was founded in 1999 by a group of scientists and representatives of chemistry manufactures. The aim of The REFMAT Society is to promote the broad knowledge on quality assurance and quality control in analytical chemistry. The main goals of REFMAT are as follows: the use of certified reference materials in analytical laboratories the promoting of the production of certified materials in Poland organisation of inter-laboratory comparison information on international professional testing programs and to help in linking the laboratory with organisers REFMAT Society works under the auspices of the Committee of Analytical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Besides this REFMAT co-operate with following institutions: Department of Chemistry, University of Warsaw Centre for Ecological Research, Polish Academy of Sciences Central Office of Measures (GUM) Broad co-operation with many other laboratories is a strong base for our activity concerning the organisation of interlaboratory tests for quality control as well as for creating the new reference materials for specific purposes, according to requirements. The ongoing activity concerns the preparation of reference material CLW 1 - cations in lake water". REFMAT co-operates closely with a polish journal "Analityka" ( www.malamut.pl ) , which is a good forum for publishing articles promoting the knowledge on quality control and certified material aspects. |
